Welcome!

   Tashunka has been offering horse experiences to youth and adults since 2002, and has now expanded its farm program with the creation of Tashunka Farms.  We are offering educational and fun farm animal experiences with with a variety of programs like Petting Farms, Day Camps, Workshops, Field Trips, and Tours.

....and for those inquiring minds.....The name "Tashunka" is a Lakota Sioux word that translates to mean "male horse" This name was selected due to its unique quality and meaning. Also, it sounded a lot better than Mazzola Farm!

 

Our Mission

   Our mission is to provide horsemanship and animal experiences, outdoor adventures, and leadership opportunities for all ages. This is accomplished through personal instruction with an emphasis on applied learning, independence, leadership, and individual responsibility. We strive to help create life skills, friendships, and memories that last a lifetime.
